Looking for a drop in solution?  Get back on the road fast with one of our crate engine options.  We specialize in machining Subaru Blocks and have them machined and ready to go.  This accelerates the crate engine build time by starting with a ready to build block.  Contact us for a custom quote.  CORE IS REQUIRED w/GOOD HEADS.  New OEM Heads Castings are generally required on EJ255s and EJ257s as they do not pass quality inspection after a catastrophic failure, unfortunately.  Also, Cams, Cam Phasers, Lifters, Valves, and Valve Train may all need to be swapped to your engine unless purchased all new.  So core quality is extremely important and not taken lightly.    Contact Synergy for a free quote.

Looking for serious power?  Add CNC Porting to any of our DOHC EJ Crate Engines along with a Newen CNC Seat and Guide Profile cut   State of the art equipment is available for your crate engine project.   These ports have been tuned to perfection and offer consistency no hand port can match!  Therefor, we do not even offer hand porting, it is no competition, and in porting you get what you pay for.   We offer only the BEST in porting on our crate engines. 

What's In The Details

At Subie Machine, our Crate Engines are built with quality in mind.  We always replace certain fasteners, cam sprockets, timing covers, and other key details with OEM Subaru parts.   

Tuning / Running Stand / SimTest

We offer a few options at the moment for testing our engines before they ship across country.  Our #1 solution for quality is called the SimTest Engine Analyzer.  This test station rotates the engine, and supplies heated oil under a controlled oil pressure.  This allows us to put the engine around 200 RPM, and listen for any noise or odd behavior the engine may be experience before actual startup.   We put every engine on the SimTest Analyzer before the engine is considered complete.   For an additional charge, we have a Engine Running Stand, which we can put a complete engine on for startup testing.   We eventually will offer engine dyno and / or chassis dyno tuning, but we do not offer tuning at this time.
